As of now, four different men have stepped forward to say that Bishop Eddie Long had been in their international travels with him a bath gifts to try to persuade them to take part in a sexual relationship with him. The men also said in their suits who used his power within the church to feel uncomfortable during the process.
As soon as the news came out and made its way online, representing over vehemently denied the claims, saying they were "disappointed" that the youth had decided to take the route they did. During his return to his church on Sunday, long made it clear that he was innocent and that he would fight as hard as he could for his good name.
"I am eager to respond directly to these false allegations will," Long said in a statement. He also went on to say that he had been advised to use patience during the process, but assured members of the church who would fight the claim and not settle.
It will be interesting to see how long it continues to respond to the allegations, and if he decides to remain seized of the concerns publicly.
