Rutgers University Student Death Ellen DeGeneres spoke out

Ellen DeGeneres spoke out against bullying teenager Thursday in the wake of the September 22 death of a Rutgers student."I am devastated by the death of 18-year-old Tyler Clementi," he wrote on the website of your program. "If you do not know, Tyler was a brilliant student at Rutgers University, whose life was cut short meaningless. Was marginalized for being gay on the internet and was killed."
DeGeneres said that September was the fourth floor of suicide among teenagers "who have been subjected to ridicule and harassment."

Recently, a Rutgers student committed suicide after jumping from the George Washington Bridge after sexual acts was broadcast over the Internet by their roommates.
18 years old, Tyler Clement became the victim of his roommate Dharun Ravi, a freshman at Rutgers, who has been accused of invasion of privacy by the police. Fellow freshman Molly Dharun Ravi Wei and left a spy camera in the room of Clementi. The two faces five years in prison each. Both are 18 years of age.
Clementi was a virtuoso violinist who had the talent to "blow away the public" with his music. His body has not been found, but police had found the portfolio Clementi, car, computer and cell phone in the vicinity.
