The numbers on Facebook status is part of the “Facebook Number Game” which started last night. Many users are still baffled about the trend and what do the numbers mean. So how do the “Facebook Number Game” work? All you have to do is ask your friends what they thing about you and then supplying them with a number. The friend then gives the answer, and attaches the number to their answer for identification purposes.
We have asked some of our friends on how they see this numbers on Facebook and one of our CST contributor has this to say, “I do not see how this numbers on Facebook status will be any benefit to someone. It is just a waste of time and an attempt by someone to create a trend on Facebook.”
Another Facebook user, Michael Clark is saying that for him it does not matter what the thing is as long as he had fun using Facebook and he can interact with his friends, “I do not care much about what this number on Facebook status is, as long as me and my friends can be closer because of things like this on Facebook.”
Will this numbers on Facebook status be another viral thing? Well, we have to see in the next few days and surely with more than 500 million registered users in Facebook new trends and ideas will pop up everyday. Be careful however with hoaxes since social networking sites like these are also prone to people trying to make a name for themselves.
