Why Fisher-Price Toys Recall


U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission and Fisher-Price announced a voluntary recall of more than 10 million products from children and infants in the United States.
The recall applies to Fisher-Price toys, high chairs, toys and tricycles rampways child. Fisher-Price products are sold in different stores in San Antonio.
The plastic rod inflatable balls pose a choking hazard to young children. The recall affects 2.8 million Baby Playzone Crawl & Cruise Playground, Baby Playzone Crawl and Slide Arcade, Baby Play Gymtastics wall; Ocean Wonders Kick & Crawl Aquarium, 1-2-3 Tetherball and Bat and articles Rating Meta.
The company also is recalling 950,000 highchairs in the United States. There have been 14 reports of injuries, including seven incidents that children should receive stitches and one reported case of an injured tooth. The recall applies to health care by Fisher Price, Easy to clean and close to my throne.
The company also is recalling Little People 100000 Wheelies Stand 'n Play Toy Rampway. The wheels of the toy cars can go, which could pose a choking hazard.
Finally, the company is recalling seven million Fisher-Price and sturdy trikes Trikes Trikes child. The three-wheeled vehicles have a plastic key-shaped disk seek them. Fisher-Price has received 10 reports of children who have fallen against plastic ledge and injuring themselves. There have been about six girls who have required medical attention because of their injuries. Tricycles injuries may cause vaginal bleeding, according to the U.S. Safety Commission Consumer Protection.
Fisher-Price has created a Web site to help parents in San Antonio that have acquired these items. The company is offering to parents to send replacement parts or a repair kit. The complete list of recalled items along with contact information is here.
