What Is Babri Masjid Verdict


Days before the verdict on the demand for Babri Masjid Ram-Janmabhoomi title is going to deliver, one of the three judges of the Allahabad high court bench in Lucknow has disagreed with the order passed by the other two judges on Friday.
Write a discordant note against the order of the majority, Justice Dharam Veer Santiago on Monday said it was not consulted by the other two judges before denying the request for mediation, and has directed all parties to approach the court before 23 September if a compromise is reached between them.
The verdict in the 60 years of age, dress Ram Janmabhoomi-Babri Masjid title is scheduled to be delivered on 24 September. One reason for postponing the verdict on the request title to pursue a friendly settlement was rejected by judges SU Khan and Sudhir Agarwal on Friday.
Justice Dharam Veer Sharma, who is a member of the bench of three judges and had not signed the order passed last Friday, said in his dissenting note on Monday that he had been consulted by his fellow judges would have definitely given his opinion on the allegation court.
He said the applicant Ramesh Chandra Tripathi, who had moved the court seeking mediation, it was also required to pay Rs 50,000 fine imposed by the court.
Judges SU Khan and Sudhir Agarwal was slapped with a cost, "copy" of Rs 50,000 against Mr. Tripathi and said his effort to seek a solution outside of court, which seemed to be an attempt to "naughty" addressed to "the creation of obstruction "on final disposition of the case.
Justice Sharma for studying the mediation or settlement out of court and said the parties were free to resolve their disputes amicably before the date of pronouncement of sentence (24 September) and currently no interference of the court is required.
Justice Sharma, in his order, said there were no reasonable grounds to believe that the applicant (Tripathi Ramesh Chandra) and Akhada Nirmohee are willing to resolve the dispute.
