A steady stream of traffic heads to the New Birth Missionary Baptist Church in Lithonia on Sunday morning. Bishop Eddie Long is to address members of his church during the service, after lawsuits were filed this week by four young men claiming they forced to have sex.
9:07 a.m. "This is a very difficult time for me." "... A time when acutally do drop the veil and see who is with you."
9 a.m. Long is on the podium. He takes off his glasses. Wait for applause. Walks. Wait. Music kicks in. A good couple of minutes now past. The large church with the good days, welcome to the regulars and "all other guests." Notes that are here a week and says "I'll be here next week" as well.
9 a.m. Long is in great response from the congregation.
8:50 a.m. Scratch that last report. Channel 2 is now saying that the power of the Internet - you can access the Web site of New Birth - will continue until the Bishop Eddie Long addresses his congregation. AJC reporters are also in a press room outside the courtroom, but inside the church and to report back in the direction of Long.
8:45 a.m. Channel 2 Action News reports that the New Birth definitely cut power before long speech.
8:45 a.m. New Birth officials are checking the ambulance. They will not say when long direction of the congregation. There is a press conference scheduled for 10 hours, so it's probably before that date. Inside the church, Bernice King is talking, talking about giving money to the church.

7:40 20 minutes until the Bishop Eddie Long is supposed to address his congregation. In the front of the church, people gather near the front of the stage, grouped - some swaying slightly.
7:30 a.m. There is a steady stream of traffic heading to New birth date, but no major backups at the entrance to the church of Woodrow Road in Lithonia. Outside the church grounds, there are three tents, the media and at least five satellite trucks. Channel 2 Action News is broadcasting live and will be updating the story for the news of Sunday morning.
7:20 a.m. Just a quick heads up this morning. Long talk at 8 am and 11 am services and hold a press conference at 10 am we will have reports throughout the morning. You can also follow the Twitter account of the AJC.
6:45 a.m. Parishioners and presentation at New Birth Missionary Baptist Church in Lithonia hear Bishop Eddie Long. Long spoke to his supporters in a conference call on Friday, saying he was "under attack." But his comments were vague and did not take questions from the suits on hold. "We will come through this situation and move on, and we are moving forward," said Long, as television WGLC oversaw the call. All other responses to the allegations in the demand graph has come through a spokesman or his lawyer, long denied the accusations against him.
