Eid-ul-Fitr 2010 India

Eid-ul-Fitr, a Muslim holiday will probably take place in Pakistan & India on Saturday, 11/09/2010. It will be held in Saudi Arabia and other Middle East countries Friday, 10/09/2010.
Eid is marked as the day when Muslims worldwide take to break the fast during the month of Ramadan, also known a Ramzan.
Islamic authorities, who are assisted by telescopes are used to detect a sliver of the new moon at night. The vision of the moon can be affected by cloud cover, pollution and geographic location. Most of the time is the cloud cover and geographic location.
Saudi Arabia celebrated Eid first, then followed by the rest of the world and India. Most likely, Eid will be held in India on September 11, Saturday.
