The Neptune Festival 2010 has "Boardwalk Weekend," which goes from the street 2, street 36 oceanfront in Virginia Beach. Which will take place from 12:00 p.m. to 11:00 pm on Friday, 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 pm on Saturday and from 10:00 to 6:00 PM on Sunday.
The highlight of the event is the North American Competition Sandsculpting that people all over the country come to see. Concerts will also be scattered throughout the 32 blocks on the seafront, and a large art and craft show.
If you like to play volleyball, which can enter the volleyball tournament taking place on the beach. The festival will also include a fireworks show, September 25 at 9:00 PM.
There is sure to be something for everyone.
The Neptune Festival was created by the Virginia Beach Chamber of Commerce President Richard Kline in 1973, to celebrate a very unique heritage of Virginia Beach. It is now regarded as one of the 100 festivals on the East Coast of the United States.
