Macgruber

MacGruber has disabled your last bomb on television. After eight years, Will Forte is out "for NBC's Saturday Night Live."Forte played such memorable characters as "MacGyver" parody MacGruber, the falconer, and recently an inept ESPN Classic sports commentator who knew nothing about sports and less than commentator.

In a statement, Forte thanked his cast members and executive producer Lorne Michaels for their years on the show.

"After eight seasons great, Will has taken the decision to move from" SNL "to seek new opportunities," wrote the representative Forte. "He is eternally grateful to Lorne and all the amazing people who worked over the years."

Earlier this year, Forte brought his character to the big screen MacGruber. He was one of the biggest summer box office failures.

Besides "SNL," Forte recently played a guest star on "30 Rock" and features the voice of Wally Farquhare director in "The Cleveland Show." He is also set to appear in the comedy "A Good Old-Fashioned Orgy."
