Kanye West Power Video Of 2010


Kanye West debuted his "Power" video Thursday night on MTV, leaving fans to interpret the vision of the rapper in Marco Brambilla-directed "portrait".

90-second visual was digitized still image, in which Kanye West has been decorated in a black T-shirt and the same bright jewelry he wore during this year's BET Awards.


Video began chanting the Gospel touch recording, and although the image of the West continues, the camera pulled away from digitized fittings identify some women, some saints and some sinners. The video was replete with religious references, Brambilla said the rapper admired his previous efforts, which in combination with sexual connotations of religious images.

"I immediately connected with the themes on the album" Brambilla told MTV News about the not yet named a number of West LP. "The very idea of celebrity, the idea of power, the idea of sensuality in it, there is sexuality in it as well, and it was all that I was exploring in his work before. Once I heard the album, which was that it is irreversible, and I felt in harmony with the message of the music.

After a brief clip, the camera rises to reveal the images of the West with a decorative woman, who stayed with the rapper and who also stood upside down.

"I always wanted to do something about mental power to do a portrait of what the rule will look like in some eternal way and the opportunity to have it in the frame of the painting," said Brambilla. "In essence, make a video portrait of Kanye as a symbol of power was very consistent with my practice of art and learn what I have in my work."
