Florida Election Results,Rick Scott Win


Rick Scott won the Republican nomination for governor in Florida's election results tonight. Rick Scott is believed to have spent at least $ 39,000,000 of his own money to defeat Bill McCollum.

Representative Kendrick Meek has won the primary over the political upstart Jeff Greene, who had a huge advertising budget. Rick Scott to win tonight put him in against Alex Sink in the coming weeks.


Republican Governors Association spokesman Tim Murtaugh said: "The primary is over, Rick Scott is the candidate's general election has begun, and our party now expects." You can watch live stream of the celebration of his victory at Scott's website.
