After a delayed release in Japan due to inappropriate content - the full details of which have not yet been revealed - the fans of the video game series Dead Rising in the western territories had been concerned would also have to deal with a push-back on the date of release of Dead Rising 2: case zero. Image Theatre Capcom quickly relievedElectronic such concerns this morning however, issuing a press release stating that the episode prequel will be available in North America and Europe today as planned.
Available for download from the Xbox LIVE Arcade, players in Europe are experiencing problems with the full version of Dead Rising 2: zero cases. Although the trial version is available for download and play hard once on the Xbox 360 hard drive, the full version is not accessible at this time. In fact, the download version of the trailer and try to upgrade to the full version of the game returns the status code 80004005, stating that "can not retrieve information from Xbox LIVE."
There have been reports this morning suggesting that players in Europe may have difficulty accessing your download history today, and so far it is suspected that the two problems may be related in some way. Electronic Arts will keep you updated with the latest details on this story, and the future of Dead Rising 2: zero cases.
