Billy Budd
Billy Budd 1962 film director, producer, and co-written by Peter Ustinov. Adapted from the stage version of the game a short novel by Herman Melville's Billy Budd, it starred Terence Stamp as Billy Budd, Robert Ryan, John Claggart, and Ustinov, Captain Vere. Stamp was nominated for an Oscar for Best Actor, received a Golden Globe for Most Promising Debut Male. The film was nominated for four BAFTAs.
