Today Assam Blast 4 Died


Four Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) were killed and 40 injured when militants caused an explosion on the improvised explosive device in Dhalukbudi Goalpara district on Friday morning. CRPF personnel patrolling the area when unidentified militants set off an explosion at about 8:00 am, official sources said.

United Liberation Front of Asom (ULFA) has sent mail to the responsibility for the attack. Officials initially suspected that militants belonging to the National Democratic Front Bodolenda (NDFB) was behind the explosion.


Friday explosion is the second major attack on CRPF in 1 week. Earlier NDFB is believed that the attack on the central paramilitary units in Solmara, about 4 km from the district headquarters.
