Billy Ray Cyrus Reaction Against Her Daughter On Twitter

Count Billy Ray Cyrus among those thoroughly disappointed to have witnessed the Miley High Club.

Miley Cyrus's father, still in the midst of a brief scandalous divorce from his wife Tish, spoke about the now widespread video in which 18-year-old allegedly seen taking bong hits (legal) herbs sage, then going into what she describes as a "bad trip .

Here's what Billy Ray had to say:

"Sorry, guys," he wrote to his fans on Twitter this afternoon, providing the first official comment on the incident. "I had no idea.

"They were so sad," he continued. "There is a lot stronger than I am right now."

The last line is no doubt not so subtle dig over the division of responsibilities of parents.

He is not the only one lamenting the situation.

"It's a pity that someone has let it be hoped that the video is out," a source in the camp told Miley "All this is sad, all the way around."

There's still no official comment from Miley or her representative.

With regard to drug itself, seems to be different views about how much damage hit the grass can be (physically, that is. Do not reputation-wise. The verdict is still on that.)

Matt Jenkins, owner of Hollywood Shaman Herbs and spices, said E! News that the grass is not only legal, but completely safe addiction factory is mainly used in spiritual rituals (if you're not a teenager looking for a high legal).

"You can try it once and never try again, that in fact, that gives him his legal status," he said.

Jenkins noted that the mean effect for only a few seconds (if it does, Miley's proved, as always above average in its activities), and that this is far from marijuana.

"They're not even in the same ballpark," he said. "There is no THC in it. You get involved with marijuana, salvia is not addictive, you can try it once and never try it again."

When the herb is used ritually, it normally administered by boiling it in tea. Her normal food intake outside the narrow circle of shaman, however, to smoke.

Naturally, the representative of the DEA quickly shopkeeper's counter-claims that the sage is a natural, spiritual drugs.

"Of course they will say that they are not objective," agency spokeswoman Barbara Carreno told E! News. "As far as spirituality goes, people say that, since the Salvia is a powerful hallucinogen, and this will help you to have a vision. People do not smoke salvia, that the church experience."

However, Carreno did agree with Jenkins in one: the sage has nothing to do with marijuana.

"It's more like other known psychedelic drugs," she said of the plant. "People smoke it solely to get high and hallucinations. When someone smokes salvia, they are unable to control their psychology."

According to DEA, mental effects of the drug, including the perception of bright lights, vivid colors and shapes, and body and the object distortion. As thinking that you see your ex-boyfriend or something?

Dysphoria, uncontrolled laughter, a sense of loss of the body, hallucinations, uncoordination, dizziness and slurred speech are also side effects of the drug. Sound familiar?

So why is it legal? Well, for starters, it's not everywhere. Salvia is not regulated in a controlled substance, although some states have taken matters into their own hands and criminalize herb. California is obviously not one of them.
