How Jennifer Hawke-Petit Family Murder


Jurors wept when they were shown crime scene photos were raped, killed and burned the body of Jennifer Hawke-Petit and her daughters, the victims of home invasion Connecticut, Reported Thursday.
Original photos, displays only the medium of the jury, showed Hawke-Petit, who was raped, strangled and burned beyond recognition in what was once beautiful Cheshire, Connecticut, the family home three years ago.
The second set of images depicts her daughter Haley, 17, sprawled on the floor, on the second floor landing at the top of the stairs. She freed herself from her bondage, and was obviously trying to save his little sister Michaela, 11, when she was overcome by smoke.
But photos, which caused some jurors to break down in tears were Michael in his pajamas, his wrists bound to her bed, her lower body part of the bed.
Men and women have been overcome. Those few who did not cry darkly stretched their lips.
After viewing the photos, Judge John Blue said that because of the “harrowing experience”, the jury could go home for a day and let the court early.
On the court, Stephen Hayes, named one of the two alleged attackers. Guilt phase of the murder of Hayes “, is expected to last four weeks. If he is convicted of any of the six capital crimes in the indictment against him, the process will be accompanied by a penalty phase to determine if he would be executed by lethal injection for death penalty law Connecticut.
