CowBoy Coach:Wade Phillips In And Jerry Jones Out

Wade Phillips was fired as coach of the Dallas Cowboys Jerry Jones.
Jason Garrett, offensive coordinator and occasional crown will be the interim coach. It has long been a hot commodity as a candidate for head coach and is paid as a coach Jones to keep on staff. Now's your chance to try to turn the Cowboys with the remaining half of the season. The possible scheme was first reported by Bill Jones of the Dallas CBS affiliate.
Phillips, 63, was 34 to 22 in his fourth season as coach, more significantly, it was 1-2 in the playoffs. The impetus for his dismissal had been gaining momentum and occurs immediately after the 45-7 loss cowboy Green Bay Packers on Sunday night.
"There are many people here that are certainly going to suffer and suffer the consequences," Jones said after the game. "I'm talking within the team, players, coaches, who have careers. This is certainly a setback. I know first hand what it is to have high expectations."
With Tony Romo with a broken collarbone, Phillips shot him seem human to do, Jennifer Floyd Engel writes.
The Cowboys were crushed in Green Bay, marking one of the worst stretches of three games in team history, and then Phillips returned to Dallas with Jones in his private jet instead of joining the team in his letter.
"We whipped about every way you can strike anyone,''Phillips said after the game." It looked like we were fighting hard early, but once collapsed on him collapsed on us. It seemed a bad team with bad coaching. That's the way we played.''
