Today John Lennon Birthday

Although his birthday tomorrow, the only thing you talk about is the death of John Lennon. This is sad.
Famous Lennon said The Beatles were bigger than Jesus. He also stated that Christianity would vanish.
The Beatles were bigger than Jesus? Not sure, but at least there was a reality. Christianity has vanished? Big time.
Apart from being an anti-authoritarian prophet and a man so famous he had to give up "public life", wrote songs amazing. And I'm not just talking about beautiful melodies and stirring arrangements - Paul McCartney wrote those, too. But John Lennon told stories, and these stories together people from all walks of life. The union construction worker loved The Beatles so much as the undergraduate war protester. John Lennon was not bent on the matter, as this warm hero of my generation, Kurt Cobain. It is inspiring that it was not.
Lennon, a stirrer of the U.S. government, to say the least, was murdered by David Chapman. Although the end was not considered a threat to national security due to heavy drug use, any event in which a gunman assaulted a celebrity, establishment-shaking should make us reflect. The Kennedy brothers, Martin Luther King, hell, even Ronald Reagan - the invisible hand that moves the needle behind the killings (and in the case of Reagan, the attempt) is one of the most disturbing aspects of being an American.
What else should we remember John Lennon was a special moment that seems to be waning: When the most talented people in the world just so happened to be the most famous. And I'm not playing the technology, in fact, I wish John Lennon was still alive today to him, he would have one billion followers on Twitter.
