Robot box office collection 100 crore

Rajinikanth robot creates hysteria, Hindi-speaking territories to offer more concerts
Forget Dabangg or 3Idiots, starring Rajinikanth, Robot is set to rule Indian cinema with their libraries in a whopping weekend. According to trade experts, the film has collected Rs95 crores in combined ticket sales of the three versions on the first weekend. If you add the sale of tickets from abroad, rising to a record Rs 100 crore.
"In the first weekend, all three versions of the robot have been collected together Rs95 crore, which is the highest in the history of India. If you add up the figures abroad, total revenue will probably increase by another RS7 million-RS8 crore rupees, "said Komal NAHT, founder-editor of Koimoi.com.
The film is expected to generate at least about RS120-RS130 crore crore more for ticket sales, Mr. NAHT said. Just last month, Dabangg, gross collections Rs48.25 crore in the first weekend, beat3Idiots which raised about Rs41 crore in the same period. But all this is history. Robot redid the box office record in his own inimitable style.
The USP of the film is "everything", including special effects and Rajni Sir, as Mr. NAHT. Even those who have not seen the film are enthusiastic about the movie and plan to see it in the next few days.
Piyush Pandey, executive chairman and national creative director of Ogilvy India, said: "Although I do not want to comment on something I have not seen, but I can tell a very dear friend of mine who is the president of Lowe, R Balki (director PAA), I received a day before yesterday. He has been in Tamil and said it's great. Therefore, I would like to test his sentence. I will definitely see it. This phenomenon must be seen. The second person to Mr. Bachchan is just Mr. Rajinikanth. They are the real parents of (the) film (industry) in the country. Therefore, I see. "
Although robot was launched with a record of 2,250 copies and created hysteria in South India and around the world, including Dubai and Malaysia, Hindi-speaking territories, the shows were few, less than a third of the sample since its release Anjaana Anjaani competition. But the rave reviews and introducing a robot has generated positive publicity to turn the tide, Mr. NAHT said. "Rajinikanth does not run different in southern India. But now salon owners have realized that the film is a success and more will appear in the second week."
Even Mr Pandey, according to this. He said: "We are not a country but a continent. The regional differences will be there. Rajinikanth sir not what Mr Bachchan is in the Hindi-speaking area. So Mr. Bachchan is not what Mr. Rajinikanth is those areas. "
So is the new album is going to change the landscape of Indian cinema and to establish a new precedent? Mr. Pandey is different. MoneyLife told, "These things (box office collections) are very difficult to assess (as part of) a film against the other. Due to differences in the type of ticket and the circumstances in the days of Sholay and DDLJ at present. But, obviously, is a great success. You can not compare one against the other. It's like comparing Sachin Tendulkar with Don Bradman. "
Robot is the most expensive Indian movie ever with a cost of millions of rupees RS150. The robots used in the film cost around Rs4.8 crore each, according to a press release from the Red Sun About RS60 crore has been spent on special effects. The climax has been shot on a set that cost RS5 crore in Rajinikanth fights with 100 robots that are similar to it.
