This is Dan Humphrey Keepin 'your baby? Nate Archibald is ever going to have a personality? It is possible that someone else (besides Georgina) is Preggo? Here's the dish executive producer Stephanie Savage:
How to turn Blair Waldorf (Leighton Meester) into Tina Fey? Blair's a rich Upper East Side princess couture clothes and her own maid, but she is so fascinating unsafe. How would evolve to where she is today? It is a combination of things: Honestly, Blair is probably one of the characters closer to the character in the book. She has a lot of uncertainty inherent in his character, and I think that Leighton does an incredible job of making the vulnerability and insecurity to the surface in very subtle, so that's really fun to write. And for me and Josh Schwartz to be the children of the Upper East Side that had tons of designer clothes, we can instill a part of ourselves, in its capacity to help her look a bit more human and relatable.
Chuck (Ed Westwick) and Blair are fantastic in the first two episodes, but the trip to Paris is really about Serena (Blake Lively) and Blair friendship. As writers, how to balance the romantic side of the show with the face of platonic friendship in the series?I think that friendships in the program, especially women's friendships, and friendship between Serena and Blair primary-are the core of the series. That is something that Josh and I decided after The OC we wanted to do. Especially when that age, her best friend is so important to you, if not more important than any boyfriend. It began as a large part of the sample, the assumption that the pilot was that Serena and Blair's betrayal in the past that came to light, and that was kind of the point of departure for the entire show. I think it's definitely the case that romantic relationships are likely to drive more history, but these two girls together is the heart and soul of the series, and I always want to touch that base as we go.
Turning to other storylines, Georgina (Michelle Trachtenberg) and Dan (Penn Badgley) is supposed to have a baby, which is a surprisingly touching story and positive. But I've been on TV rodeo a few times, there is no possibility that little Milo Humphrey will spend long time, right?Georgina definitely be back, and the truth about everything will be revealed, and I think the baby really will have a lasting impact on Dan, his sense of himself, who is and who wants to be.
By the way, how wonderful it is Michelle Trachtenberg shouting in Russian? Her mother is Russian and he was his own Russian coach. And Leighton also spoke of his own French. She was very good.
What's in store for Nate (Chace Crawford), which has always really struggled in the program in terms of having a stronger identity among the personalities who surrounded him?I think that the appearance of Juliet (Katie Cassidy) in your life is going to force Nate to make decisions and take a position on some things. We will also review topics over Nate season, dating back to the early episodes on his family.Chace Crawford, Katie Cassidy Fame Pictures Inc.
Speaking of Juliet, as writers, prefers to concentrate on the fundamental relationships or is it more fun to bring in new people to change the relationship up?Both are fun and challenging. On the one hand, the central dynamic of the series are the relationships around the world [is] more to invest, but the challenge is to ensure that this dynamic feel fresh and interesting. The reality is in a couple of real life, which is next to four or five or six years, its dynamics is not likely to change much. [Laughs.] New characters are fun because you have to start from scratch, and is a new energy and a new actor, but the public is generally less for those who come to their world. So you can make them harder to write and a little more risky.
