Rich Cronin, lead vocalist and founder of the band LFO late 1990s boy has died after a long battle with leukemia, according to reports from TMZ and E! News. He was 35.LFO, Lyte Funky Ones or were known best for the beach and America 1999 "Summer Girls", including the popularity of the moment lyric written by Cronin, "I like girls that wear Abercrombie & Fitch." Two years later, his cancer in remission, Cronin - along with children who have been banders Jeff Timmons (98 Degrees), Bryan Abrams (Color Me Badd) and Chris Kirkpatrick ('N Sync) - star of the series VH1's reality show Mission: Man Band on combating the quartet to launch a new band. Kirkpatrick updated his Facebook profile today with the message "RIP to a great friend Rich C." Lance Bass Twitter also sent with the message, "sad sad day Rich Cronin died - it was an amazing guy." In 2006, Cronin, looking back on his career, he told EW, "I am very grateful for the success he had. And if it happens again, that would be great. I'm just that kind himself to writing pop songs make people happy. And I still like girls only Abercrombie & Fitch. "
