ranked Buckeyes host to 7:30 p.m. EST. It is a game that is largely Ohio State the favorite to win, and the Buckeyes in their quest began playing in the championship game of college football this season. It is also the first of four non-conference games that Ohio State plays before they start their Big Ten schedule on 2 October. The four non-conference games are against Marshall, Miami Florida, Ohio University and Eastern Michigan. Surprisingly, Ohio State was able to swing their first four games all to be played in Ohio.
The conference schedule is not followed by eight games against Big Ten opponents for the rest of the season. OSU is currently ranked No. 2 in both the Associated Press and coaches polls college football. The toughest games on the schedule appears to be road games against Wisconsin and Iowa later in the calendar, it seems the State of Ohio could be on its way to an end very strong in the Big Ten Conference in the 2010 season .
