Michael Grimm Win Award


Michael Grimm took the grand prize of NBC's "America's Got Talent" and her grandparents, who raised him and they lost everything in Hurricane Katrina are set to recover a decent home, again.

This night saw performances by Usher, Jewel, Goo Goo Dolls, David Copperfield, Lionel Richie, Sarah Brightman, Donna Summer and The Beatles Love Cirque du Soleil.


The night before final buzz nonsense Prince sang Last Dance by Donna Summer. Michael Grimm sang Me and Bobby McGee with Jewel. Lionel Richie sang Dancing on the Ceiling as the fight against gravity out. Jackie Evancho duo was with opera star Sarah Brightman.

When all was said and done, the blues singer, Michael Grimm, took the prize.

Grimm, 32, has been performing professionally since he was a child, and lived a modest life with his grandparents in Mississippi. Now, Grimm is set for an annuity of $ 1 million and a lucrative contract to headline in Las Vegas.
