Two Moons In August 2010 Is A Rumor: NASA

There has been much controversy about two moons that occur in the sky today, August 27, 2010. The rumor began circulating via email back in 2003 when Mars really make a special approach to our planet Earth to only about 56 million kilometers leading to the red planet to appear as a moon in the sky.
Apparently, that was an old email in August 2003. In fact, NASA reported that there is such that there will be two moons in the sky today, August 27, 2010. This rumor, as was said, began in 2003 and since then was repeated at the end of August each year since then.
After this phenomenal event in August 2003, Mars had another close encounter with Earth in 2005. However, this event took place in October and not August. He also made an approach in December 2007 but not as close as what happened back in August 27, 2003. According to astronomers, it was not until the year 2018 our view of Mars is similar to what was available in 2003 and not until 2287 that Mars will come closer to Earth than it did in 2003.
