Musashi and Mizuno submission victory at DREAM.15

Gegard Mousasi rebounded from its loss Strikeforce at the "King Mo" Lawal quick submission over Jake O'Brien in the first round of light heavyweight in the DREAM Grand Prix in Japan. O'Brien, a collegiate wrestler at Purdue University, shot in on Musashi, who caught him in the permanent guillotine. O'Brien went limp in 0:31 in the first round and the referee called an end to the battle.

O'Brien joined the battle nearly 20 pounds overweight, so the fight was caught on catchweight, and O'Brien seized 10 percent of his purse to Musashi.

Melvin Manhoef
is a striker with no ground game, and the fact he lost in battle DREAM.15. Tatsuya Mizuno won with a Kimura in the first round. Manhoef Mizuno knocked to the ground before, but was unable to finish the fight, and was in trouble as the fight went to the ground. Mizuno Manhoef pushed through the ropes and then pulled out a hand to finish the bout at 7:38 in the first round.

This is the second loss Manhoef in a row, as he was knocked out Robbie Lawler in December at Strikeforce.
