Sensex dipped into the red for the second, but almost immediately jumped up and touched the high level of 18,081. The index is now 48 points, at 18068. Nifty up 7 points in 5425.
BSE Auto index jumped to 1,5% 8254. Bankex also recovered from the negative zone and is now up 0.3% at 11440. Markets traded on a flat note, as investors await RBI credit policy review.
Sensex opened at the low of the day, 17999, and touched the high level of 18,077 for the purchase of shares in the car. Nevertheless, the index was now flat, as investors are cautious. Sensex is now up to 14 points at 18034. Nifty flat in 5417. BSE Auto index up 1% in 8227.
But the banking index is slightly in the red at 11376. IndusInd Bank, Bank of Baroda, Union Bank and Axis Bank are some of the losers in this sensitive space.Rate stocks automatically received at the end of the first half of trading. Hero Honda has received about 3% in 1863 to Rs. Tata Motors added 1% to 828 rupees. Maruti Suzuki reaches 1% in 1203 to Rs.
IT stocks in the green. TCS, Infosys and Wipro advanced 1% for every Rs 855, R 417 and Rs 2,827, respectively.Reliance reaches 0,5% in 1058 rupees ahead of its results today.
Hindustan Unilever, ONGC, Hindalco and ACC also up.On On the other hand, ICICI Bank has slipped 1% to 906 rupees ahead of RBI monetary policy review. The central bank will revise its credit policy in a few minutes. HDFC Bank and SBI are traded flat at 2,057 rupees and 2,416 rupees respectively.
Larsen and Toubro is the biggest loser with a loss of 2,5% in 1871 to Rs. NTPC, DLF and Jindal Steel have droped about 1% of the market each.BSE width is positive. Of the 2,630 stocks traded, 51% have advanced while 45% declined.
