Sources said that Korver ESPN.com, former Utah Jazz will sign a three-year contract valued at $ 15 million.
Korver will be the Bulls' second significant free agent acquisition, along with former teammate Carlos Boozer Utah to sign with the U.S. immediately after the Bulls failed to achieve LeBron James, Chris Bosh and Dwyane Wade.
"Kyle can shoot the heck out of the ball," Boozer, speaking on "Waddle and Silvy Show" on ESPN 1000 on Thursday, said his former teammate with the Jazz. "He's 6-7, 6-8, the actual size and can shoot the ball. In practice, he does not miss many shots, and then in the game, when he turned, he is as good as anybody."
Korver was only 3-point shooter the NBA last season at 53.6 percent, an average of 7.2 points for the Jazz in 52 games.
It fills a huge need in Chicago, which was not half-stretching complement Derrick Rose. 6-7 swingman also comes with the experience of playing with the presence of Boozer in the low post.
