Flood In Chicago Cause Delay Of Traffic


A Heavy Flood came in Chicago and  Flooding closed a major interstate in the Chicago area and caused heavy traffic delays on other roads.

Interstate 290 is closed between Mannheim Road and 25 th Avenue and there is standing water slowing traffic on Western Avenue. Illinois Department of Transportation said at least eight cars were registered under the water.


There is also standing water on Interstate 90/94 to the north and south of the loop. North loop, there is standing water around the Addison Street, and south of the loop, the water between 83 and eighty-seventh Street. Southbound traffic sent to 83rd Street.
