David Cameron Remarks On Terror Against Pakistan

Pakistani diplomat expressed disappointment after the British prime minister, David Cameron, has publicly warned Pakistan against the promotion, which Cameron called "exporting terror."

Cameron made his remarks on July 28 during a visit to neighboring Pakistan and rival India.

In response to Cameron, the representative of Pakistan in London, Wajid Shamsul High Commissioner Hasan said in a commentary for "UK Guardian" newspaper that Cameron decided to ignore what he called "Pakistan's important role in the war against terror. The Pakistani envoy also accused Cameron of potentially dangerous chances for peace between Pakistan and India.

In his speech at Bangalore, Cameron said that the West can not tolerate the alleged support of some Pakistani intelligence officers for Islamist terrorist groups.

"This is not so, as I said in my speech to have any relations with groups that support terror. Democratic nations that want to be part of the developed world, could not do it. And the message to Pakistan from the [United States] and the [United Kingdom] Clearly, on this issue, "said Cameron.

comments of British Prime Minister came a few days after the leak of secret U.S. military documents about the alleged link between the intelligence agencies of Pakistan and the Taliban in Afghanistan.

India has long accused Pakistan of harboring and supporting extremist groups such as Lashkar-e-Taiba, which New Delhi accuses of attacks, such as the deadly 2008 attack against militants in the combat mission in the city of Mumbai.
