Martial Law In The UK

A state of martial law in the UK? Or just another piece of twisted conspiracy theory? Well, that really depends on how you want to consider the following statement which is the hot topic of conversation across the net today;

"The police chief Sir Paul Stephenson UK consider asking the British government to ban all protest marches in response to student unrest last week, a move that would put Britain on a de facto state of martial law. "

The above statement can be found on the website infowars.com and many other similar sites, which are often labeled by conspiracy theorists.

However, it should be noted that the UK Metropolitan Police Commissioner is making these considerations and says in a statement "is one of the tactics that we see and something we will keep under review and if we think that is what right to do so we will. "

Is the ban on a protest march are actually martial law in the UK? Well, of course not, at least not for anyone who is thinking rationally. Also remember the words actually used in the statement before martial law. In fact, it is America and is commonly understood as meaning "in practice or reality, but without being formally established. "

The idea of martial law in the United Kingdom, is much like another conspiracy theory.
